We leverage technology to accelerate and deepen learning and foster collaboration. We stimulate change and create sustainable large scale solutions through innovation.
We see innovation as a key building block to stimulate change and empower youth with the ability to successfully address real world challenges and design novel solutions.
A technology-integrated education program that enables and accelerates technology innovations in schools and community. The program seeks to:
The program uses innovative and cutting edge technology tools and integrates them into the core curriculum to enhance student achievement. This allows the students to experience transformational learning - express, collaborate and connect using technology. The Mobile Innovation Station, a recently introduced learning asset, encourages students to work on disruptive technologies and come up with technology based solutions to solve local problems.
In-school: Empower students with technology skills and 21st century skills; Empower teachers with technology integration skills; Provide supporting infra such as digital learning centers with laptops, wifi, digital content to create an engaging learning environment, cloud-based system with subject-specific online content.
After-school (Community Outreach): Prepare underserved children for the digital age and build readiness by developing digital literacy skills, spoken English skills and life skills.
Monitor: Conduct class observations, Baseline study for students, and Endline study for students.
Engage: Invite volunteers to support the achievement of program outcomes.
Evaluate: Measure impact with baseline-endline comparison; Share success stories.
Digital Citizenship initiatives work toward creating awareness amongst educators, children and youth, and parents on safe, smart and responsible use of online tools and platforms. We organise the popular Cyber Security Innovation and Research (CSIR) Contest with support from our partners. The contest provides an invaluable platform to promote cyber security research and skill development as well as foster design and development in the application of cyber security.
The CSIR contest has been successfully conducted in major cities of South India.
Tech Challenge is a platform to introduce young children to essential computational skills such as design mind set, coding, and digital making. The challenge allows for young innovators to come and showcase their futuristic tech infused unique projects to the world.
We organise Hackathons to spur ideation and innovation among the youth (age 16-25 years) and build skills to address real world challenges and design novel solutions that have economic and social impact.
Tech Girlz has been introduced as a focused program to inspire and engage girls in the age group of 10-14 years. It is an academic enrichment curriculum laid out as a series of independent activities where students are engaged in hands-on STEM and design activities that enhance knowledge, problem solving and creativity skills in STEM.
Organise Camps: Tech Girlz STEM camps are organised across the country.
Impact Study: Assess students' skills after attending the camps.
